Ingredients
1 Full Venison Rib Cage, Spilt into 4 | 50g Carnivore Collective Venison Rub | 200 ml Store Brought or Homemade BBQ Sauce |
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven or smoker to 150C (300F)
2. Take the ribs and place them in a roasting dish.
3. Cover the ribs with the Carnivore Collective Venison Dry Rub and add 100ml of the barbecue sauce. Cover the tray with foil, making sure it seals tight, with no holes. Bake the ribs for 1.5 - 2 hours. Remove from the oven/smoker and leave to cool.
3. Once cooled, remove the ribs from the tray, then heat up the sauce you cooked the ribs in. 4. Once your sauce you cooked the ribs in. Once your sauce is hot, start cooking the ribs. While there is one side down cooking, get a basting brush and brush the remaining barbecue sauce on the upper side of the ribs.
5. Cook the ribs for 5 minutes on each side, turning and basting as you go, until they are golden and a bit sticky.
6. Serve the ribs straight off the grill, with a good slaw, and maybe corn if it's in season.
